The proximity to Council Grounds State Park and the Merrill Area Recreation Complex made it the perfect spot to create that space, Dzwonkowski said. She found the location, 501 Grand Ave., to be perfect and saw a chance for expansion on Merrill's west side. ![]() She hopes to begin renovations as soon as it's warm enough and wants to open "as early as we can."
